Take I-25 north to Montaño Road. Turn left on
Montaño, past Coors Boulevard to Unser
Boulevard. Turn right on Unser, past Molten
Rock Road to Kimmick Drive. Turn right on
Kimmick and continue to the entrance to
La Cuentista.

La Cuentista is the first of its kind in
Albuquerque—an all-green-built lifestyle community
designed to exist in harmony with the
environment. Located near Petroglyph National
Monument, La Cuentista imposes strict guidelines
for building to offer construction practices
that not only protect the environment but also
offer a healthier way of living and provide a
strong level of sustainability. The community’s
eight local custom home builders are required
to follow at minimum the Bronze-level green guidelines set forth by Build Green NM.
